Chelmstone is working in conjunction with John Holland as part of the Queensland Rail's ongoing station accessibility upgrade program. The Queensland Government is investing more than $500 million to upgrade rail stations across the South East Queensland network, ensuring they're more accessible for travellers and commuters. As part of the project Chelmstone is manufacturing custom made precast concrete Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSI), along with etched snow platform coping and paving. These custom designed precast concrete pavers create a great visual aesthetic and importantly ensure visually impaired rail users can access the platform safely.
